I adapted this dish to make it healthier and tastier from a korean side dish recipe, by adding ginger, stevia drops and green chilli it makes a really great addition to the dish!
So Good!!!!! You should definitely try this dish once you have made your own tofu! |

- 1/2 of a white onion
- 1 tsp of raw ginger
- 2 clove of garlic
- 5 drops of liquid stevia/ 1 1/2 tsp of honey/ 1 1/2 tsp maple syrup / 1 packet powdered truvia or stevia
- Optional: Salt (although I don't think this is needed)
Method
- Slice the tofu up into small blocks
- Put a teaspoon of the sesame oil, 1 tbs of tamari and 2 tbs of water in a saucepan with the tofu. Fry the tofu for around 5 mins or until it has a golden colour
- Slice up the white onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies and add to the saucepan
- Add the rest of the sesame oil and tamari to the saucepan and let cook for around 2 mins
- Serve and enjoy
